We work with high-risk situations and patients, in the context of our society becoming more litigenous. We will benefit from the experience of the American Professional Agency in helping us better deal with these risky situations. The first presentation will examine liability issues in the integrated/collaborative care model that Oregon has focused on, as well as identifying risk reduction strategies for that setting. The second presentation will focus on liability issues when using telepsychiatry, as well as strategies to reduce the risk in our practices.
The seminar is open to current OCCAP and OPPA members, with pre-registration required and limited to 120 members. The seminar is presented and supported by the American Professional Agency, at no charges to OCCAP/OPPA members. This will be a networking opportunity for members of our two organizations.
